Ann Arbor Public Schools teachers are in the process of negotiating a new contract with the school board.

WEMU, Eastern Michigan University's public radio station, wrote: “There are differing views, however, of whether or not Ann Arbor teachers have seen their pay go up in recent years and whether or not their pay rate has kept up with the rate of inflation.”

ForTheRecord says: “Differing views”? If only there was a public database of teacher salaries reporters could consult for such questions.

Note: Michigan Capitol Confidential did a four-year review of teacher salaries for Ann Arbor Public Schools in 2016.
