Michigan's April Job-Loss Percentage Topped The Nation

From March to April, no state was harder hit by epidemic and lockdown policies

The percentage of jobs lost in the state of Michigan from March to April was the largest in the country.

From March to April, the state lost 22.3% of its jobs. The state went from 4.38 million jobs in March to 3.40 million jobs in April, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Vermont was No. 2, as it lost 20.6% of its jobs in a month.
