The Michigan Education Association website www.KidsNotCeos.com is sponsoring ads on Facebook that claim Gov. Rick Snyder has made massive cuts impacting public schools. Here is what they say about Dearborn:

But that’s not accurate. In fact, Deaborn’s schools have received about $12 million more under Gov. Snyder’s administration, according to the Michigan Department of Education’s State Aid Financial Status Report.

Dearborn City School District received $128.7 million in state funds in 2011-12 for 18,978 students. Dearborn City School District received $140.4 million in state funds in 2013-14 for 19,506 students.

The union has a reputation for using the word "cut" in ways very different than normal people.
