Maybe Facemasks Not Such A Big Deal?

Everyone masked in local TV vaccination story —except the Saginaw County Health Department director

WNEM-TV in the Saginaw area broadcast a COVID vaccination story on Nov. 16, with the news that 70% of Michigan residents age 16 and older have received at least one dose of the vaccine, a threshold officials have pursued for many months.

The 2:15 minute segment interviewed four individuals as they were being vaccinated, each of whom was wearing a face mask. Reporter James Felton also wore a face mask. Just one person interviewed in the story was not wearing a mask: Dr. Delicia Pruitt, identified as the medical director of the Saginaw County Health Department.
